Samantha is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Benedictine University in 2013 and her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Trinity Christian College in 2016. She provides therapy services to individuals, couples, and families. Samantha has over five years experience working in a residential treatment facility. She has experience working with clients in the areas of eating disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, self-harm, and substance abuse. Her golden retriever, Maddie, is an AKC certified Canine Good Citizen (CGC), who also works as a therapy dog at times.
Samantha utilizes a variety of techniques, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She believes in the power of empathy and providing clients with a safe, non-judgmental space. Her aim is to help clients work through their struggles, to help them feel empowered, and to pursue a meaningful life.
In her free time, Samantha enjoys long distance running, baking, attending church, and spending time with her family, including her young daughter, husband, and dog.
