Louella DeVries holds a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Adler University, formerly known as the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. She is president of Olive Branch Counseling Associates, Inc. in Tinley Park where she provides counseling and psychotherapy to clients in individual sessions, as well as couples, families and groups. In addition to therapy services, Louella provides clinical supervision to interns and other therapists at Olive Branch and in the area. She has taught counseling psychology and personal development classes at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

Louella’s clinical specialties in addition to supervision include the treatment of anxiety and panic disorder, depression, teen and adult attention deficit disorders, personal development, couples’ counseling and parent education and skills training.

Louella is married to her husband Michael and they have four adult children. She is a member of Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago and serves on the Board of Directors of the Light and Leadership Initiative (LLI). LLI addresses educational needs of women and children in a developing community called Huaycan on the outskirts of Lima, Peru.

In her spare time, Louella is a gardener and a pond keeper. She enjoys travel and entertaining friends and family.
